Phase N/A

This research study looks at how racism and discrimination affect health in different families. Structural Racism and Discrimination (SRD) means unfair treatment based on someone's race or background that is built into systems like schools, workplaces, or laws. The study wants to see how these unfair treatments over time affect people’s health and well-being. Researchers will look at SRD from multiple angles at the same time to find better solutions that help everyone.

  • Participation: The study takes place in Athens, GA, and involves two sites, UMN and UGA, where participants from diverse backgrounds are needed.
  • Requirements: Participants need a smartphone or internet device and should be able to read English or Spanish. They must be aged 8-18.
  • Exclusions: Children with serious health issues, developmental challenges, or certain dietary needs can't participate.

Families will need to visit the study sites and use their devices to participate. This study will help find ways to make health and life better for everyone by tackling unfair systems.
