Study on Suicidal Behavior in Bipolar Disorder

This study looks into why people with Bipolar Disorder (a condition causing extreme mood swings) might feel suicidal, and how to help them feel better. Over 6 weeks, participants will join group sessions. These sessions will cover topics like social rhythms (how we interact and organize our day), mindfulness (being more aware of the present), and ways to change negative thoughts. This might help participants manage their Bipolar Depression better.

  • Duration: The study lasts 6 weeks.
  • Participation: Group sessions with support and strategies offered.
  • Eligibility: Must speak English and have a Bipolar Disorder diagnosis.

Not everyone can join. You shouldn't have certain mental health issues like schizophrenia, be very ill, or have memory problems. If you meet these criteria, you might be able to participate and possibly find new ways to improve your life quality. Remember, the study is safe and aims to help understand and treat suicidal thoughts in people with Bipolar Disorder.
