Narcolepsy Type 2 is a sleep disorder that makes people very sleepy during the day. This study is trying to find out if a new medicine called ALKS 2680 can help people with this disorder feel less sleepy. The study compares ALKS 2680 tablets to placebo tablets, which are tablets with no medicine in them.
People who can join the study are between 18 and 70 years old and have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18 and 40. They must be diagnosed with Narcolepsy Type 2, according to special guidelines. Also, they should feel very sleepy during the day and be willing to stop any other narcolepsy medicines for at least 14 days and follow study rules.
If you have other serious health problems, you might not be able to join. The study’s doctor will decide based on individual cases.
