Phase 3

This study is testing two medicines, **baxdrostat** and **dapagliflozin**, to see if they can help slow down the worsening of a condition called **Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)** in people with high blood pressure. CKD is when your kidneys do not work as well as they should. High blood pressure, also known as **Hypertension (HTN)**, is when the force of your blood against your artery walls is too high. The study will last for about 24 months, and there are different stages, including a part where everyone takes only dapagliflozin. **Baxdrostat** is a new medicine being tested, while **dapagliflozin** is a medicine that helps the body get rid of sugar through urine.

  • The study will include regular visits at the start and then every 4 months for 24 months.
  • Participants must be 18 or older and have CKD with high blood pressure.
  • The study involves taking medications and keeping track of your health through regular tests.

It's important to know the study has specific health requirements for participants. If you have any conditions like very high blood pressure, certain heart problems, or have had a recent stroke, you might not be eligible to join. Always check with your doctor before joining a study.
