Phase 2

This study looks at a drug called CYB004 for people with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). GAD is a condition where people worry a lot about everyday things. This study is to see if CYB004 is safe, how it behaves in the body, and if it helps with GAD.

Participants need to be 18-65 years old, have GAD, and be on stable anxiety medication. They should not have other major mental health issues or be on specific medications like monoamine oxidase inhibitors. Also, people with certain health conditions or those taking certain herbal or over-the-counter medicines can't join. It’s important to avoid caffeine, drugs, and alcohol during the trial. Participants should not donate blood or sperm during and after the trial, and must speak English.

  • The study will include multiple visits, and participants must follow specific rules about medications and substances.
  • Participants must stop certain medications like benzodiazepines for a few days before each visit.
  • It is necessary to understand and agree to the study requirements, which include providing written consent and abiding by restrictions.
