Phase 3

Study Purpose: This study aims to see how well a medicine called tozorakimab works for patients with a viral lung infection who need extra oxygen. Doctors want to see if it can help prevent death or the need for machines like ventilators.

Eligibility: You can join if you’re 18+ and in the hospital with a viral lung infection needing more oxygen. Hypoxaemia means your blood oxygen level is low (SpO2 ≤ 90% or ≤ 92% with certain breathing issues). You can't join if you have specific lung infections or already need a ventilator.

Key Points to Consider:

  • Duration: The study length and number of visits will be explained by your doctor.
  • Compensation: You may receive compensation for participating.
  • Risks: Discuss any potential risks with your healthcare provider before joining.

This study is important for understanding if tozorakimab can help people with serious lung infections breathe better and stay healthy.
