Calling All Dads! This study looks at how a program called ACT Raising Safe Kids (RSK) can help dads and male caregivers become better parents and reduce harmful behaviors like child maltreatment (hurting children) and violence. The American Psychological Association (APA) created this program to teach positive parenting. Participants will join a 9-week program and complete four surveys. Researchers will compare the results of those who attend the classes to those who do not. The study will check if the program helps with controlling anger and improving family relationships. It will also see if the program is worth the cost by comparing quality of life improvements.

  • Study lasts 3 years and involves a 9-week program.
  • Participants need to complete four surveys.
  • Must have a child aged 1 to 10 and read English or Spanish.
