All
Phase 2/3

This study tests a new medicine called AMX0035 for a brain disease named Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). PSP affects movement, balance, and thinking. AMX0035 might help by stopping brain cells from dying. The study will last about a year, and participants will take a real medicine or a fake one (placebo) without knowing which. Afterwards, there's an optional phase where everyone can try the real medicine. To join, you must be 40-80 years old, have had PSP symptoms for less than 5 years, and be able to walk. You also need someone to help you with study visits and information. Women and men must use birth control during the study and for 6 months after. You can't join if you have other major brain disorders, certain heart, liver, or kidney problems, or if you need a feeding tube.

  • Duration: 52-week double-blind phase
  • Visits: Regular clinic visits required
  • Eligibility: Must have PSP symptoms for less than 5 years
