Virtual Reality During Exercise Testing is a study to see how using virtual reality (VR) affects exercise performance. The study looks at aerobic capacity, which is how well your body uses oxygen during exercise, and the ventilatory threshold, a point during exercise when breathing becomes heavier.

Participants will do an exercise test twice, one week apart. During one test, they will exercise as usual, and during the other, they will watch a VR video. The researchers want to know if VR can help people perform better by making exercise feel easier and more enjoyable.

Additional questions include whether VR affects heart rate, exercise time, and feelings of exertion. This information might help trainers set exercise levels more accurately.

  • The study involves two exercise sessions a week apart.
  • Participants will take tests in a lab and with VR.
  • People who are pregnant or have certain health issues cannot join.

By comparing results, researchers aim to understand if VR can improve exercise performance and make it more enjoyable.
