This study tests a new vaccine for a virus called Cytomegalovirus (CMV) in people waiting for a liver transplant. CMV is a virus that can cause problems in people with weak immune systems, like those getting a new liver. The study gives two doses of a special CMV vaccine before the transplant to see if it helps reduce the need for antiviral medicine after the transplant.
