Trikafta for Patients With Non-cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis: In this study, doctors will give the medicine Trikafta to people with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis (NCFBE) for four weeks. NCFBE is a lung condition that makes airways wide and leads to coughing and infections. The study will see if Trikafta helps these patients, as it does for cystic fibrosis (CF) patients. Trikafta combines three drugs that help lung cells work better: elexacaftor, tezacaftor, and ivacaftor.

Participants must have certain signs of NCFBE and one CF gene change. They should not have CF or other serious health problems like liver issues or be pregnant. The study will check if participants feel better, gain weight, and improve in other health areas. Some may give a small skin or blood sample to see how their cells react to Trikafta.

  • The study lasts four weeks and involves taking Trikafta pills.
  • Participants will need to meet several health criteria to join.
  • Optional tests may require a skin or blood sample.
