PillCam SB3 is a small camera capsule that patients swallow to help doctors see inside the small intestine. This study will collect videos and data from these capsules to improve the technology. The study is observational, meaning it only watches and records without changing any treatments. It involves up to 8,000 procedures at 50 medical centers in the U.S. over 7 years. Doctors will share videos and data, which are made anonymous so individual patients cannot be identified. Patients do not need to do anything extra or different for this study. The data will help researchers make the PillCam better for future patients.
- Study Length: Up to 7 years.
- Visits: No extra visits or procedures required.
- Risks: Minimal, as it's only using existing data from standard care.
To be part of the study, patients must agree to the use of their data. There are no specific exclusions, so any patient undergoing the PillCam SB3 procedure can join. This study will not affect the patient’s current treatment or diagnosis.
