The study aims to help kids who had a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), like a bump on the head that isn’t too serious. *Clinicians* (doctors and healthcare providers) will be grouped randomly to either get special training or just do what they usually do. After the training, the study will see if using a computer tool, called an electronic medical record (eMR), helps the doctors make better decisions. The study will last for 32 months. The first 16 months, the tool will not be used, and the last 16 months, it will be used. Kids who join the study will be watched for three months to see if these methods help them get better in school and other areas.
- The study lasts for 32 months, with the children observed for 3 months after injury.
- Doctors will use a special computer tool only in the last 16 months.
- Kids aged 5-18 who have a mild head injury can join if they meet certain conditions.
