Study Overview: This research looks at the safety and how well people can handle taking a medication called KarXT for a long time. KarXT is a combination of two drugs: xanomeline and trospium chloride, taken twice a day. The study is for people with schizophrenia, a mental condition that affects how a person thinks, feels, and acts. Participants must have already completed an earlier study with KarXT.
Eligibility: To join, you must be 18 to 59 years old, have finished the earlier study, and be following your current medication plan. You need to live in a stable home and have someone to help you with study tasks. Women who can have children and men whose partners can have children must use birth control. You cannot join if you have serious health issues, are pregnant, or if there is any risk of harming yourself or others.
