This study looks at how safe and effective a new drug called dexpramipexole is for people with severe eosinophilic asthma. Eosinophilic asthma is a type of asthma with high levels of eosinophils, a kind of white blood cell that can cause inflammation.

To join this study, you must be 12 years or older and have asthma that doesn't get better with regular medicines. People who have had serious asthma attacks recently, certain other illnesses, or who smoke are not allowed to participate. Women must not be pregnant and must use birth control if they can have children. Participants will undergo various health checks, like lung tests and blood tests. They must not have had certain treatments or infections recently.
