Phase 2

This study is looking at how well a medicine called NST-1024 works, and if it's safe, for people with hypertriglyceridemia (high levels of triglycerides, which are fats in the blood). The study has two parts. First, there's a 3-week screening period to check if you qualify. Then, there's a 28-day treatment period where you might get NST-1024 or a placebo (a harmless pill that looks like the real medicine but isn't). You'd need to follow a specific diet during this time and visit the study site again two weeks after the last dose to check how you're doing. About 50 people will join this study across the USA.

  • Duration: Total study time is about 6 weeks.
  • Visits: Several visits to the study center are needed.
  • Compensation: Not mentioned, but usually studies have some form of compensation for time and travel.
