Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a condition affecting the brain and spinal cord. This study, called a Therapeutic Experience Program (TEP), explores a special therapy called PoNS therapy to help people with MS walk better. PoNS therapy uses a small device and exercise to improve walking. The study lasts for 14 weeks and has two phases.
Phase 1: For the first two weeks, participants will visit the clinic regularly for supervised therapy with a trained physical therapist. Phase 2: For the next 12 weeks, therapy continues at home with only weekly clinic visits.
After completing the 14 weeks, participants will return to the clinic six months later to see if the therapy effects have lasted. To join, you need to be 22 or older, diagnosed with MS, able to walk 10 meters, and stable without recent MS relapse.
- The study lasts 14 weeks with a follow-up after 6 months.
- Participants need to visit the clinic weekly after the initial two weeks.
- It's important to follow the PoNS therapy regimen.
