This study looks at a condition called Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), which is when a blood clot forms in a vein deep in the body, often in the legs. It compares two treatment methods for DVT. One uses a device called the ClotTriever System, which is a tool used to remove clots and open up the blood vessel. The other method uses anticoagulation therapy, which is medicine that helps prevent more clots from forming. The goal is to see which method works better for people with DVT in the iliofemoral veins, located in the hip and thigh area. The trial will involve around 300 adults, and will gather information about their health and treatment results over 6 months.

  • Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups.
  • Eligibility includes having significant DVT symptoms and being willing to follow up for 6 months.
  • Exclusion includes having certain allergies or other medical conditions that could complicate the study.
