Phase 2/3

This study is testing a medicine called **Vericiguat** for kids with heart failure. Heart failure is when the heart doesn't pump blood well. Vericiguat will be compared to a fake pill (placebo) to see if it helps lower a specific heart-related chemical called NT-proBNP. The study lasts for 16 weeks.

To join, kids must have a weak heart muscle, called left ventricular systolic dysfunction, and be on steady heart medicine. Girls must not be pregnant or breastfeeding. Some kids can't join, like those with certain heart surgeries, allergies to the medicine, or serious lung or liver problems.

  • Study Length: 16 weeks
  • Visits: Regular check-ups to monitor health
  • Risks: Possible side effects like any medicine, and eligibility requirements must be met

If you think you or your child might qualify and want to help see if Vericiguat works for children, consider joining this study after talking to your doctor.
