Phase N/A

This study looks at liver transplantation (LT) in people with cirrhosis (scarring of the liver) and a serious condition called acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF). ACLF happens when someone with liver disease suddenly gets much sicker. Doctors often think about LT for these patients, but it can be risky. This study compares the survival rates of people with different levels of ACLF and those with cirrhosis without ACLF who get a liver transplant. It also looks at ways to improve who gets chosen for a transplant.

Key Points:

  • Participants must be adults (18+) with liver cirrhosis and considered for a transplant.
  • The study aims to help doctors decide who should get a liver transplant and when.
  • Participants will be monitored for one year to see how well they do after the transplant.

This research hopes to find better ways to help people with severe liver problems. If you or someone you know fits these criteria and is interested, talking to a doctor could be helpful. Remember, the decision to participate should be carefully considered.
