Study Overview: This study tests a medicine called batoclimab for people with Thyroid Eye Disease (TED). TED is a condition where your eyes might bulge out because of thyroid problems. In this study, participants will get either batoclimab or a placebo (a fake treatment) for 24 weeks. The aim is to see if batoclimab helps reduce eye bulging (proptosis).
Eligibility: You can join if you're 18 or older and have moderate to severe TED. Your eye bulging should be getting worse, and you should have started having TED symptoms within the last year. You shouldn't need immediate eye surgery or be planning to have medical treatments for TED during the study. You must have controlled thyroid levels.
Key Points:
- The study lasts 24 weeks, with regular check-ups.
- You won't be able to take steroids or have had eye surgery recently.
- There might be risks, so discuss with your doctor before joining.
