This study is for people with chronic kidney disease (CKD). CKD happens when kidneys don't work well over time. It can cause too much of a protein called albumin to appear in urine, known as albuminuria. This study tests a new drug, BAY3283142, which might help CKD by relaxing blood vessels. Participants will take BAY3283142 or a placebo (a pill that looks like the real drug but has no medicine) for 16 weeks, along with standard CKD treatments.
To join, you must be 18 or older, have poor kidney function, and high albumin in urine. You can't join if you have low blood pressure, liver disease, or certain heart conditions.
- Duration: Study lasts about 23 weeks, including screening and follow-up.
- Visits: Regular visits for health check-ups and tests.
- Risks: Possible discomfort from blood tests; medical problems will be managed.
The study aims to find better treatments for CKD. Participants may not benefit directly but will receive thorough check-ups.
