Phase 2

Plaque psoriasis is a skin condition that causes red, scaly patches. This study is testing a new treatment called SCD-044 to see if it helps people with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. It is a randomized study, meaning participants are randomly chosen to receive the treatment or a placebo (a fake treatment). It is also double-blind, so neither the participants nor the researchers know who is getting the real treatment, ensuring accurate results.

To join, you need to be at least 18 years old, have had plaque psoriasis for at least 6 months, and have no history of tuberculosis (TB). You cannot participate if you have other types of psoriasis or need other psoriasis treatments during the study.

  • Study involves multiple centers and several visits.
  • Participants will receive either SCD-044 or a placebo.
  • There may be risks, so discuss with your doctor.

This study aims to find out if SCD-044 can be a helpful treatment for people with this skin condition. Consider the eligibility criteria and talk with a healthcare provider to see if this study is a good fit for you.
