This study looks at how well a drug called LX9211 works to reduce pain from diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain (DPNP). DPNP is a condition where people with diabetes feel pain, tingling, or numbness, usually in their feet or hands. The study compares LX9211 to a placebo, which is a harmless pill that doesn't have active medicine. To join, you must be 18 or older, have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, and have had DPNP pain for at least 6 months. Your blood sugar levels, shown as A1C, should be less than or equal to 11%. Some things might keep you from joining, like having other painful conditions or using certain pain medicines recently.
- The study is for adults with diabetes and long-term DPNP pain.
- You must avoid certain pain medications before joining.
