Phase N/A

This study is about exercise for Veterans living with HIV, focusing on those 50 years and older. The goal is to help them stay healthy and slow down aging. Many of these Veterans may face issues like heart problems and muscle loss due to HIV. The study uses a special exercise program called Functional Interval Training through video calls. This means you don't need special gym equipment and can do it at home.

Researchers aim to see how exercise can help with fitness and reduce aging effects. They will use something called DNA methylation to study aging. It's a way to see how old your body thinks it is. The program lasts 12 weeks, and 80 Veterans will join. They will be split into two groups: one that exercises and one that doesn't.

  • Study lasts 12 weeks with video call exercise sessions.
  • Participants must be 50+ years old and living with HIV.
  • No special gym equipment is needed, and compensation is not mentioned.
