This study looks at how social factors affect children who need a liver transplant. A liver transplant is when doctors replace a sick liver with a healthy one from a donor. Social factors, like living in a low-income neighborhood, can make it harder for these children to stay healthy after the transplant. The study will include surveys and in-depth interviews with caregivers (parents or guardians) and healthcare providers, like doctors or nurses, to find out what social challenges they face. They will look at things like money problems, how well people understand health information, and how connected families feel to their community. They will also talk to healthcare providers about what makes it hard or easy to help these families. The data will help improve health care for children needing liver transplants.
- Participants include caregivers of children under 18 undergoing liver transplants and healthcare providers.
- Participants must complete surveys and may join interviews.
- The study aims to understand and improve social and medical care connections.
