The MATCH Investigation is a study looking at different ways to check blood flow in the heart. When the heart doesn't get enough blood, it can be due to blocked or narrow heart vessels, which is called coronary artery disease (CAD). The study will compare two types of heart scans: CT Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (CT-MPI) and CT Fractional Flow Reserve (CT-FFR) with the traditional PET Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (PET-MPI). The PET-MPI is often used as a "gold standard," or the best method, for checking heart blood flow.
- Study involves comparing old and new heart scan methods.
- Participants must give consent and follow study rules.
- People with certain health conditions or who take specific medications cannot join.
If you decide to join, you must be scheduled for a CT-MPI, agree to follow all study steps, and give written permission. However, if you are pregnant, have certain health issues, or take specific drugs, you cannot participate. This study aims to find the best way to look at heart blood flow without any invasive procedures.
