The aim of this study is to find out how well a new medicine called BHV-7000 works and how safe it is for people with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). MDD is a serious mood problem causing sadness for a long time. To join, you should be between 18 to 75 years old, have felt depressed for at least 2 months, and agree to stop other depression medicines. You cannot join if you have certain mental health issues or are pregnant. This study will help doctors understand if BHV-7000 can be a good treatment for MDD.
