Phase N/A

This study looks at how patients and doctors talk about immunotherapy, a treatment that helps your immune system fight cancer. Researchers want to know where patients learn about immunotherapy, what they understand, and how doctors explain it. They also want to find out if educational videos can help patients learn more.

Immunotherapy can be a complex topic. Sometimes, news and media make it sound different than it is. This study will see if patients misunderstand it, even after talking to their doctor. Patients and doctors will share what information they think is important. The study will also create videos to help explain immunotherapy better.

Key points:

  • You will have a 20-minute interview after your doctor's appointment to discuss your understanding of immunotherapy.
  • The study is at Winship Cancer Institute and is open to all cancer patients talking about immunotherapy.
  • There might be tests to see if videos help you learn more about immunotherapy.
