Drug-Eluting Registry: Real-World Treatment of Lesions in the Peripheral Vasculature

The ELEGANCE Registry is a study to collect real-world data about treating lesions (problem areas) in blood vessels outside the heart. This study looks at how effective and safe it is to use special medical devices from Boston Scientific that release medicine over time to treat these lesions. The registry is open to people from different backgrounds and collects information about costs and outcomes.

These devices are used to help people with Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), a condition where blood vessels outside your heart get narrowed or blocked. The research is being conducted in several places around the world without random selection of participants.

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old and sign a consent form.
  • The study doesn't include people who might not live for another year.
  • No new treatment or medication is given, just observing the use of existing devices.

This study helps make sure these devices are used safely and effectively in real life, not just in controlled experiments.
