This study is looking at how safe and effective a medicine called KarXT is for people with schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. The study will slowly increase the dose of KarXT to see how it works with food. To be part of this study, you need to have a diagnosis of schizophrenia confirmed by a DSM-5 evaluation, and a PANSS score of 80 or less. PANSS is a test that measures symptoms of schizophrenia. You also need to be willing to stop other antipsychotic medications. You cannot join if you have other major health issues, if you have been resistant to schizophrenia treatments before, or if you are allergic to KarXT.

  • The study involves stopping current schizophrenia medications.
  • You must be diagnosed with schizophrenia and meet specific test scores.
  • Do not join if you have certain health issues or allergies to KarXT.
