Phase 4

This study is checking if a medicine called albuterol/budesonide (also known as AIRSUPRA) is better for people with mild asthma compared to just albuterol. Asthma is when your airways get inflamed, causing breathing problems. Albuterol is a rescue inhaler that helps quickly during an asthma attack. Budesonide is a medicine that helps reduce inflammation in the airways.

This study will last up to 15 weeks, with 12 weeks of treatment. Participants will visit the clinic three times and have two video calls, so you won't need to go in very often. This study is for adults who use albuterol and don't take other regular asthma medicine. You must be able to give permission to join, called informed consent.

  • Study duration: Up to 15 weeks with 12 weeks of treatment.
  • Visit frequency: 3 clinic visits and 2 video calls.
  • Eligibility: Adults with mild asthma not on regular inhaled steroids.
