Study on Heart Procedures: This study is examining a new way to decide how to treat people with coronary artery disease, a condition where blood vessels in the heart are blocked. The study compares two methods: FFRangio, a new imaging technique, and a traditional method using a pressure wire (a thin device inserted into the heart to measure blood flow). This research aims to see if FFRangio is just as good as the traditional method in preventing serious heart problems within a year.

  • This study involves heart patients considering a procedure to widen blocked arteries, called PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention).
  • Participants must be at least 18 years old and cannot have had certain heart conditions, like a recent severe heart attack or previous heart surgery.
  • The study lasts one year, focusing on heart health outcomes, but participants with other serious health issues or pregnant women are excluded.

Note: This study is not suitable for everyone. If you had a recent heart attack, previous heart surgery, or are pregnant, you cannot join. It's crucial to discuss with your doctor if you're eligible and if participating is right for you.
