Phase 3

This study is testing two medicines, **retatrutide** and **tirzepatide**, to see which works better for helping adults with obesity lose weight safely. Obesity means having too much body fat, which can cause health problems. The study will last about 89 weeks, which is more than a year and a half.

To join, you should have tried at least once to lose weight by dieting but not succeeded. You can't join if you've had a big weight change (more than 11 pounds) recently, or if you've had or plan to have surgery or special treatments for weight loss. Also, you shouldn't have used weight loss drugs recently or have certain health issues, like heart problems or a family history of specific types of cancer.

Key Points:
  • Duration: The study lasts about 89 weeks.
  • Eligibility: Must have tried dieting to lose weight and meet other health criteria.
  • Considerations: No recent weight loss treatments or major heart issues.

This study will help us learn which medicine is better for weight loss and keeping people healthy. If you meet the criteria, it could be a chance to help others in the future, too.
