This clinical trial tests a nasal spray called Fasedienol for adults with Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD). SAD is a condition where people feel very nervous in social situations. The trial aims to see how well the spray works and if it's safe. People aged 18-65 with SAD will be given the spray up to six times a day when needed. The trial lasts up to 12 months with a special extra phase for those who choose to continue. To join, you need a confirmed SAD diagnosis and you must not have certain other mental health issues, a history of drug use, or nasal problems. Women need to use birth control and cannot be breastfeeding. If you've tried other SAD treatments unsuccessfully, are in therapy, or take anxiety medications, you might not be eligible. You should also not be part of other trials or have certain health conditions. Participation involves consent and a screening process.
