Phase N/A

This study is for Veterans who want help with **alcohol use disorder (AUD)**. AUD is when a person has trouble controlling their drinking and it affects their daily life. Many Veterans with AUD don’t get the help they need because of long waits, stigma, or living far from clinics. This study looks at using a **smartphone app** along with **medication (MAUD)** to help Veterans drink less. The app can help Veterans track their drinking and find ways to reduce it. Researchers want to see if using the app and medication together works better than just medication alone.

  • The study will last up to 12 months, with main checks at 3, 6, and 12 months.
  • Participants must be Veterans aged 18-80 with a smartphone.
  • They will be randomly chosen to use the app with medication or just medication.

Veterans who join will help us understand if this app can be used across all VA clinics to help more people. Participation could lead to better ways to manage drinking and improve health outcomes for Veterans.
