This study is testing a new medicine called MM120 for people with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). GAD is when a person feels very anxious or worried for a long time. Participants need to be between 18 to 74 years old. The study will compare MM120 to a placebo (a pill with no medicine) over 12 weeks. Participants won't know which one they are getting. After that, all participants can take MM120 for 40 more weeks if needed. The goal is to see if MM120 helps reduce anxiety better than the placebo.
Key Points:
- The study lasts for about a year (52 weeks total).
- Participants must visit the study site regularly for check-ups.
- Only people with GAD and no other major mental health issues can join.
Think about joining if you have GAD and want to try a new treatment. Discuss any concerns with your doctor.
