Phase N/A

This study is for people with two specific conditions: Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance (MGUS) and Smoldering Multiple Myeloma (SMM). These are conditions where abnormal proteins are present in the blood. Researchers want to see how a plant-based diet, omega-3 fatty acid, and curcumin supplements affect levels of a substance called butyrate in stool (poop). Butyrate is important for gut health. The study will last at least 12 weeks. Everyone will be on a plant-based diet and will take either supplements or a placebo, which looks like the supplement but doesn't contain active ingredients.

  • The study lasts at least 12 weeks and involves a plant-based diet.
  • You must be 18 or older and willing to learn plant-based recipes.
  • People with certain allergies or already on a plant-based diet, or those pregnant, cannot join.
