The Siegel™ Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) study is for people with a condition called aortic stenosis. This means the aortic valve in the heart is very narrow, making it hard for blood to flow through. In this study, doctors want to see if a new device, called the Siegel TAVR, is safe and works well in fixing this valve without needing open-heart surgery.
To participate, you must be at least 50 years old and have severe aortic stenosis. You should also be able to have the valve replaced through a transfemoral approach, which means the procedure is done through a blood vessel in your leg. The study is done at various centers in the US, and you need to agree to follow-up visits. Some conditions, like severe lung disease or recent heart attacks, might prevent you from joining.
Key Points:- Only for adults 50+ with severe aortic stenosis.
- Requires follow-up visits after the procedure.
- Some health issues may exclude participation.
