Phase 3

Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) is a painful skin condition causing lumps and sores. This study tests a new medicine called sonelokimab, given by a shot under the skin, to see if it helps adults with moderate to severe HS. In the study, some people get sonelokimab and others get a placebo, which is a fake treatment. This helps researchers understand if the new medicine works better than no treatment. Participants are chosen randomly, like flipping a coin, for these groups. The study lasts up to 16 weeks.

To join, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have had HS for over 6 months and tried antibiotics that didn’t work well for you.
  • Have HS in 2 or more body areas, with at least one serious lesion.

Key Points:

  • The study lasts 16 weeks and involves regular check-ups.
  • You must not have any other skin diseases or serious illnesses.
  • Participants should be comfortable with random assignment to either the new medicine or a placebo.

Remember, joining this study is your choice, and you should consider discussing it with your doctor.
