Phase 3

This clinical trial is testing a new drug, ESK-001, to see if it helps people with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. Plaque psoriasis is a skin condition where red, scaly patches appear on the skin. The study will compare ESK-001 to a placebo (a fake pill with no medicine) and another medicine called apremilast, which is already used to treat psoriasis. To join, you must be 18 or older and have had psoriasis for at least 6 months. Participants will take ESK-001 daily for 24 weeks, visit the clinic for checkups, and fill out surveys about their health. They will also provide blood and urine samples. Doctors will check for any side effects and monitor their overall health and safety.

  • Study lasts 24 weeks with regular clinic visits.
  • Participants must take a daily medication and fill out surveys.
  • Health and safety checks include blood tests and physical exams.
