This study focuses on helping people who are overweight or obese, which means having a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 25. BMI is a measure that uses height and weight to estimate body fat. Participants will be randomly assigned to follow either a personalized diet based on their genetics or a standard diet plan. Both groups will take part in exercise, gradually increasing to 300 minutes a week. The study lasts 6 months, followed by a 3-month period with no contact to see if the weight changes last. Both men and women aged 18-40, who are generally healthy and not pregnant, can join. To participate, you need a smartphone and should be able to walk without help.
- The study takes 9 months in total, including a 3-month follow-up phase.
- Participants will receive a personalized or standard diet plan and an exercise routine.
- Feedback through evaluations and interviews will help improve future interventions.
