A Phase II Study of AAA617 Alone and AAA617 in Combination With ARPI in Patients With PSMA PET Scan Positive CRPC

Exploring AAA617 for prostate cancer with positive PSMA PET scans.

18 years and older
Male
Phase 2

This study looks at a cancer treatment called **AAA617** alone or with another drug in men with a specific type of prostate cancer, which is when cancer cells grow in the prostate gland. This prostate cancer doesn't respond to usual treatments that lower testosterone, a hormone that can make cancer grow. The study aims to find out if the treatments are safe and effective for patients who show positive results on a special imaging test called **PSMA PET scan**. They will check 120 patients who have no visible cancer spread in regular imaging tests like CT/MRI or bone scans.

  • Participants need to be 18 years or older and must sign a consent form to join.
  • The study involves randomization, meaning participants are randomly assigned to different treatment groups.
  • Key exclusions include prior cancer spread, certain heart conditions, or previous therapies like chemotherapy or radiation recently.

It's important for participants to have stable health, specifically good organ functions, and no major issues with urination or heart problems. This study will help understand how well the treatment works and its safety.
