A Study to Determine the Efficacy and Safety of Finerenone and SGLT2i in Combination in Hospitalized Patients with Heart Failure (CONFIRMATION-HF)

Testing the safety and effectiveness of Finerenone and SGLT2i for heart failure.

Phase 3

This study tests if a new drug combination helps people with heart failure feel better and stay safe. Heart failure is when the heart doesn't pump blood as well as it should. The study looks at two drugs: finerenone and an SGLT2 inhibitor, a type of medicine that helps your body get rid of extra sugar.

The study is randomized (people are picked by chance) and open-label (both doctors and patients know the treatment they're getting). To join, you must be 18 or older, in the hospital for heart failure, and meet some health tests. You can't join if you have type 1 diabetes or have had some serious heart problems recently.

  • Duration: The study involves being monitored during and after your hospital stay.
  • Visits: Participants will need to visit the hospital for testing and check-ups.
  • Compensation: Details about payment for participation are usually provided by the study team.

Talk to your doctor to see if this study is a good fit for you.
